Middle School Mathematics Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Mathematics Teacher to join our team at  LCMS. The Mathematics Teacher will provide instruction to students in grades 6, 7, and 8 through a rigorous, standards-based mathematics program designed to develop deep conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.  

The successful candidate will teach students across multiple grade levels while supporting both on grade-level and advanced learners. Qualified students may have opportunities to earn high school mathematics credit through accelerated coursework, providing a strong academic foundation for success in high school and beyond. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high expectations for all students while fostering confidence, curiosity, and perseverance in mathematics. 

The Mathematics Teacher will collaborate with colleagues to ensure a vertically aligned mathematics curriculum that prepares students for increasingly rigorous coursework while advancing Langston's mission of developing students who take responsibility for their learning, their leadership, and their future.
