Position Summary
The Middle School Special Education Teacher at Riverview Charter School is responsible for providing
high-quality, specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities to ensure meaningful access to
the general education curriculum and progress toward Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.  This role requires a collaborative, student-centered educator who is committed to inclusive practices,
data-driven instruction, and the whole-child philosophy. The teacher will work in partnership with general
education staff, families, and support personnel to address students’ academic, behavioral, and
social-emotional needs within a dynamic, team-based environment.
