The Berkeley Charter Education Association, Inc. (BCEA) is a nonprofit charter school governing board
committed to providing high-quality, student-centered public education in communities across South
Carolina. BCEA oversees three tuition-free public charter schools emphasizing academic excellence,
innovation, and community engagement, empowering students to thrive.
The Executive Director of Schools serves as the chief academic and operational leader for all campuses
governed by BCEA. This dynamic and visionary leader will oversee the network's strategic direction,
academic performance, and administrative management. Reporting directly to the BCEA Board of
Directors, the Executive Director will ensure the alignment of each school’s mission and goals with the
organization’s vision for excellence in rural education.
