Work collaboratively with parents, counselors, administrators and other teachers to provide engaging learning experiences for students in a small, personalized environment. Develop and implement lessons aligned with the South Carolina College and Career Ready Standards and tailored to meet diverse learner needs. Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction accordingly. Guide students through opportunities to explore and prepare for life after high school.

Midlands Middle College (MMC) is a South Carolina Public Charter School helping 10th - 12th grade students achieve successful work and educational futures. Located on the Airport Campus of Midlands Technical College, MMC seamlessly integrates high school, technical college and work-based learning into one rigorous and relevant academic program. Since 2006, MMC has offered a fresh academic start to hundreds of high school students located in the Midlands of South Carolina.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold South Carolina Certification. 

Preferred candidates will have a strong understanding of current and emerging best practices including project-based learning, educational technologies, personalized learning, restorative practices, and effective transition strategies.

Candidates must possess a desire to work with a diverse population of learners and meet their individual needs in a caring, collaborative, and flexible environment.
